Ahh, the lazy days of summer...
It just started! How could the summer be almost over? You could be in a new routine with the kids or grandkids and now you have to think of switching gears. Have we done enough with the family? Planning for Labor Day? School? Yikes, here comes the stress!
- Here are some hints to make it go easier:
- Remember to take time to smell the roses.
- It's not always as bad as it seems,.
- Prepare sensibly, it does not need to be perfect.
- Be in the moment to create new memories.
Backpacks!
Order early! Order Early! Order Early! Order Early!
Be sure to check with Elaine or Your Dr 2 Feel Good about the ergonomic backpacks. As parents and grandparents, we have an obligation to protect our children from future injuries, health problems and curvatures of the spine. With each backpack, we will fit it to the child, show them how to pack it for maximum comfort and safety, and the backpacks are guaranteed for manufacturer defects. Order early to have them for start of school.
Buzz around the office
We have proposed a new program to the local school district. Your Dr 2 Feel Good has offered a contribution program to our local school district where a portion of the income from services rendered in this office will go back to the school for needed supplies. With all the budget cuts, our schools need all the support they can get.
Kathy is very happy these days. She tells us “Due to stress at work and the repetition of movements doing my job, I was having neck problems and carpal tunnel symptoms. After one treatment of Dr. Dixon's new technique, 75% of my symptoms were gone!” That's some powerful stuff.
Dr. Gary's daughter, Julia starts college at San Francisco State University this fall majoring in teaching. His son Jonathan starts at Mesa College , he has no major yet, but he will excel at whatever he chooses. Good luck guys! And to all you other students as well!
Hot flash of the month
To help make your summers' end less stressful, Your Dr. 2 Feel Good wants to offer a free exam with your next treatment. Just mention the newsletter when you come in!
Finding ways to tickle your funny bone can boost your immunity and reduce stressful situations. In a study, participants immune system functions were measured after they engaged in either an amusing pastime or in a more serious activity. Those who had engaged in an amusing pastime had higher blood levels of cells that are important to immune system function. Plus, laughing increases endorphins and makes you feel younger!
